Texas Gov Greg Abbott Top Donors Invite Immigrants from Hispanic Countries into Colonias Selling them Lands that Flood
“My house is full of water!”
“The road look like a lake!”
“Our neighborhood looks like something out of Noah’s Arc!”
Another day another Terrenos Houston victim reaching out to us.
Meanwhile, it’s lies, lies and more lies from the developers of Terrenos Houston, colonias located in Cleveland, TX.
This is the backstory: As Greg Abbott makes a show out of shipping people out of Texas on buses, his top donors – the very same people behind Terrenos Houston – invite people from Hispanic countries into lands that flood.
Listen to this call below made from Mexico directly to Colony Ridge’s Terrenos Houston.
Promising paradise
Delivering something else Biblical. As in Biblical flood conditions.
These folks are paid liars.
When a caller asked if the development floods the operator tells her there is a ZERO percent chance of flooding thanks to a very sophisticated drainage system.
She also says there is only one bad video about them from hurricane Harvey and how detractors took advantage of that.
Most of the flooding footage on this video is from last week/weekend alone!
And the rain keeps coming. And the living conditions, scams and other crime at Terrenos Houston and sister developments keep getting worse.
Developers of Terrenos Houston, John Harris and William Trey Harris, are top donors of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.
They use young girls to reel in Hispanic residents and homebuyers promising them heaven on earth – then delivering a fast-emerging hell on earth.
Promise of paradise, great deals on land, in-house financing through their other company name, Colony Ridge.
What do you get for your near $100k? One third of an acre on what is actually wetlands.
Wetlands.
And if you ever get to the point of full ownership (unlikely) you live in the middle of a crime-ridden flood plain essentially. Raging rivers where there should be roads, garbage and sewage rising to the surface of the waters. Waves of water and crime!
And don’t fall for the old “leave your money order in the dropbox” trick. You can kiss that money order good-bye. That’s right all of your hard-earned money down the drain and you didn’t get a cent. And nothing went toward your property. Oh, and now you are in foreclosure and there’s no record of your previous payments either.
And if, again, you do manage to hang on, remember that the soil upon which you live was misrepresented to the government agencies that oversee it. It’s actually a wetland yet the owner was allowed to dig ditches only, allowing for massive flooding every time it rains.
Property damage, anyone? Terrenos Houston claims to have sold to 30,000 unsuspecting mostly immigrant families. That’s 30,000 people either swindled or living without access to clean water and safe soil and little access to services such as police and fire. Did we mention that you, as a citizen, may be called to help fight fires there? Oh yeah, that happens.
Yes, it’s THAT bad at Terrenos Houston.
They are not promised anything and it is nothing but gangs or cartels it should be shut down. Go in the bathrooms at any of their stores and see the MS13 written every where. There was not the crime like now this has always been a good place. Splendora was named for it’s splendor and they have ruined it. I am not racist in any way was raised by a Hispanic man. But this is nonsense! Trey Harris contradicts his self so much he shouldn’t open his mouth.
